Story Time 1

I was mostly raised in Fremont CA. I was what’s called a “problem child”. With no supervision or guidance I was making lots of troubled choices. Expelled from two middle schools, taking the BART to run the streets of East Oakland at all hours of the night, getting arrested, on my way to selling drugs, already looked down the barrel of a gun, and very close to getting jumped into the Crip gang. My mother was on drugs and was occupied by abusive men when she decided she didn’t want her kids around anymore. I was 14 when it was by the grace of my spirit posse that snatched me up and moved me to Bakersfield CA to live with my big cousin Keisha. It was there that I learned how to be more ladylike, to have ambition and self control. It was there I learned of my spiritual gifts and how amazing I was. I never graduated from Jr. High, but I was able to continue to High School and become a cheerleader, a Stomp team leader, a member of the BSU, popular, powerful and highly envied. Who knows where my life could’ve ended up if it hadn’t been for my spirit posse intervening. I’m eternally grateful to them!! 🙏🏼 A goddess isn’t born from beauty, and love. We are born from pain and struggle. There’s a certain strength, a certain power, a certain beauty and awe that cannot be matched or squashed. We have already been through the fire. So there’s little anyone or anything can do to break us. We continue to rise, we continue to love, we continue to heal and spread our light to the world. That is a Goddess… Agape 🖤
